DAY 1
Stay: Kampala Serena Hotel
Arrival at the Entebbe airport, and transfer to the Kampala Serena Hotel in Kampala. Optional: If you arrive early, explore the rich history and culture of Kampala City by visiting significant landmarks.
DAYS 2 & 3
Stay: Turaco Tree Tops Lodge
After breakfast, you'll set off for a scenic and breathtaking drive to Kibale National Park’s Turaco Tree Tops Lodge. The lush green forests that line the route create a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. Embark on an exciting trek through the lush forest, listening for the calls of the chimps, guided swamp walk, taking you through scenic grasslands and small communities.
DAYS 4 & 5
Stay: Mweya Safari Lodge
Scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the late afternoon at Mweya Safari Lodge. The next day, you'll embark on a thrilling expedition to locate and observe lions and leopards in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, embark on a relaxing yet captivating boat safari along the Kazinga Channel which connects Lake George and Lake Edward, creating a haven for diverse wildlife. The boat safari offers a unique perspective, allowing you to witness an abundance of aquatic and terrestrial species along the shores.
DAYS 6 & 7
Stay: Mahogany Springs Lodge
Enjoy a morning game drive on your way to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park’s Mahogany Springs Lodge for relaxation, rejuvenation, dinner and overnight stay. The next day, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla tracking. You encounter one of Bwindi’s endangered mountain gorillas. The time to track the gorillas can be as few as 2 hours to as many as 7 hours. Once the gorillas have been located, your group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. Coming face-to-face with a mountain gorilla is a truly humbling and emotional experience.
DAY 8
Transfer to Entebbe Airport after breakfast for your flight back home. End of the Tour Note: This tour accepts children who are 17 years and older. Children under 18 receive a discount. Price: Starting from $4,970 Per Person Sharing.
